First Experience:

I froze my eggs when I was 38 years old, before I got married at the age of 42. I didn’t want to rush into marriage, as my job requires a lot of travel. I was a bit worried that 38 might be late for freezing eggs. However, fortunately, the results showed that I was in perfect health, similar to a woman in her thirties, because I eat healthily and practice yoga regularly.

The egg freezing process was simple and painless. I used the injections on time and visited the doctor for the scheduled check-ups. The eggs were retrieved under partial anesthesia and it took about 10 to 20 minutes.

After marriage, the doctor suggested we try to conceive naturally for six months, but because I was always traveling, I couldn’t be with my husband during the ovulation period. Eventually, we decided to use my frozen eggs, and thankfully, this process resulted in the birth of a healthy and beautiful boy.

Second Experience:

The first time I thought about freezing my eggs, I was 35 years old, but I postponed it, believing I had plenty of time. I thought maybe I would meet a man during that time and marry him, but that didn’t happen, and I turned 39.

At 39, that number was ringing in my ears. I realized that if I waited any longer, my chances of success could significantly decrease. I decided to consult a doctor as soon as possible. After undergoing the necessary tests, I used injectable medications for about 10 days, then underwent the egg retrieval procedure. A total of 17 eggs were retrieved from my ovaries, 11 of which were mature and could be frozen.

Three years later, when I was 42, I finally found the right man. At 45, we decided to try to conceive with the frozen eggs. Nine out of the 11 eggs survived the thawing process, and 7 of them were fertilized. Among these, three reached the blastocyst stage.

Two of them were transferred to my uterus. After 10 days, I took a pregnancy test and couldn’t believe the result was positive. I felt so lucky to be able to have a beautiful daughter at this age. Freezing my eggs was the best decision of my life.
